Q. Do I need to know how to code?

A. Anything you like — campaign names, traffic sources, custom tags. As long as it’s a single string, the plugin can pass it on.

Q. Does this use cookies or save data?

A. Nope — this is a completely stateless solution. It reads the tid from the URL and passes it through to the link — that’s it.

Q. Can I use this on more than one page or post?

A. Absolutely. Each shortcode instance can have its own unique destination URL and settings. Use it anywhere you want to pass along a tracking ID.

Q. Will it mess with other query strings on my link?

A. No — the plugin is smart enough to add your TID to the end of any affiliate link, whether it already has a ? or not. It automatically handles ? and & correctly.

Q. What happens if there’s no ?tid= in the URL?

A. The button will still work — it will just link to the base URL you set in the shortcode. Nothing breaks.

Q. Will it work with [WarriorPlus / JVZoo / ClickBank / Systeme / ThriveCart / etc.?

A. Yes! Just choose the appropriate method in the shortcode (like method="jvzoo" or method="clickbank") and the plugin will format the link correctly for that platform. There are some generic methods in there to for the most popular parameters. 

Just install the plugin, drop a simple shortcode into any page or post where you want a button with your affiliate link. 

It will automatically grab a tracking value (like an email address or source name) from the incoming link and pass it straight into your affiliate link.
